Arista announces detachable monitor PC series

FREMONT, Calif. - Arista Corporation, an industrial PC solutions provider and system integrator, introduced the new ARP-1717AX Panel PC with its NEMA 4X Stainless Steel Bezel Panel Mount 17-inch LCD to Arista's 17-inch all-in-one (LCD) Panel PC line.

The ARP-1717AX has a modular computer unit that is detachable and easily removed from the display. This provides the user easy maintenance and the ability to quickly upgrade the unit. With an emphasis on safe operation and the ability to seamlessly integrate into any environment, this panel PC is suitable for various industrial environments such as factory automation.

The unit is configured with Arista's BoxPC-500, powered by a PIII or P4 Single Board Computer. The ARP-1717AX allows users the flexibility of swapping the computer module or LCD display with the removal of four screws, helping to shorten downtime.

Arista provides solutions for a wide range of markets including kiosk, Internet service providers, medical, machine control, call centers and telecom.
