ArcaTech Systems to demo currency recycler at CUNA Future Forum 2005

December 28, 2005

MEBANE, N.C. - ArcaTech Systems will demonstrate the Arca8000 Currency Recycler at the CUNA Future Forum in San Francisco Sept. 24 - 26. The Arca8000 is a high-volume, large-capacity "bills-in/bills-out" recycler ideal for controlling incoming and outgoing cash transactions.

"Cash recycling has been popular in European financial institutions for over ten years and is now getting a lot of attention from credit unions in the United States," said Mort O'Sullivan, president of ArcaTech Systems. "With an install base of over 10,000 units, the proven technology of the Arca8000 will streamline operations and allow credit unions to meet the challenges of serving their growing memberships, which now increasingly include business accounts."

With the ability to automatically accept, count, sort and securely store currency, the ArcaTech line of recyclers offers a versatile solution for cash automation in credit union branches. "Credit Unions are looking for ways to maximize their tellers' focus on members and minimize the amount of time spent on repetitive, manual processes," said Mike Mares, credit union liaison for ArcaTech Systems. "The Arca8000 becomes an integral part of branch operations. Handling cash gets simpler enabling credit unions to keep up with the larger cash volumes that business accounts require while maintaining the service levels that credit union members expect."

ArcaTech Systems will be located in booth 1108 at the CUNA Future Forum, which will be held at the Hilton San Francisco.
