AppMac rolls out Internet browser application for public kiosks

NEW YORK -- AppMac has released two new applications for public kiosks using the Mac OS X platform, according to The Mac Observer.

wKiosk 1.0 is a full-screen, secure Web browser for Internet kiosks. It is powered by Netscape Gecko HTML. wKiosk Server 1.0b manages wKiosk users and limits the access time of wKiosk stations.

Users can download a wKiosk license for one user for $99 or purchase a CD for $129. A 10-user license for wKiosk Server costs $1,590, or $5,500 for up to 50 users.
