This year at the 2014 HR Technology Conference Exhibition in Las Vegas, Apploi has been selected as a finalist for the iPad Business Products and Services Award, the company announced.
The Tabby Awards recognize businesses with significant achievements or innovations in tablet apps. Judges comprise an international panel of 20 members.
Workforce professionals use Apploi's app for recruiting, solving high turnover issues and filling long vacant positions. The app is accessible via mobile, iPad kiosks and Apploi's website.
The company also established a network of iPad job kiosks in community and job centers, shopping malls and libraries around the country. Applicants can use the kiosks to search and apply for positions, as well as showcase their portfolio.
"We are honored to have been selected as a finalist in the Tabby Awards. It's fantastic to see Apploi recognized alongside some of the world's most well-known publishers just over a year since our launch," Apploi CEO Adam Lewis said in the announcement.
Using Apploi's app, companies can screen applicants and interview recruits at the kiosks via audio and video features.
