Appetize enjoys robust order growth, expands kiosk customer reach

Point of sale and enterprise management platform, Appetize, is reporting a 40 percent jump in order size and is expanding its kiosk customer base across several industries.

Appetize customers, using the self-service Interact platform, now include Louisiana State University, the AT&T Center, and food service provider, Service Systems Associates, according to a press release. Data reveals customers are seeing both an increase in order size, from 16% to 20%, and items per order (between 18% and 25%) after deploying the Appetize system, noted the release.

"Our customers are focused on two things: guest experience and financial performance. The Appetize Interact platform offers a modern and dynamic digital experience for guests while driving increased share of wallet for the business," said Max Roper, co-founder and CEO at Appetize, in the release. "In the past six months, over 45% of our deployments have included self-service kiosks, and we expect this trend to continue as businesses require more automation and consumers desire a more frictionless experience."
