Aopen America, an electronics manufacturer of cross-platform, commercial grade products in digital signage and applied computing, introduced its eTILE-X 10, an Android-powered kiosk designed for QSR, retail and room booking — commercial and industrial environments that are otherwise unsuitable for consumer tablets, according to a company announcement. A single cable provides power and a consistent LAN connection.

Features include:

• A 10-inch touch LCD Panel with 1280 x 800 (16:10) resolution.
• Built-in PoE or use included AC adapter.
• Tamper proof port cover (concealed I/O ports and built-in cable management).
• 10-point capacitive touch.
• VESA mount compatible.
