In addition to offering rare and collectible books, an antique book shop in Toronto holds the distinction of hosting a vending machine that sells a random selection of books, according to a dailyhive.com report.

The catch is you don't know what you'll get in exchange for your $4 purchase. Customers buy a token from the machine which they insert to get whatever book is next in line to be dispensed.

The machine, called the Biblio-Mat, was custom made for the store, The Monkey's Paw.

The machine was designed for the store by Craig Small, a visual artist who operates a studio, The Juggernaut.
