Anark updates multimedia software

BOULDER, Colo. -- Multimedia platform developer Anark Corp., seeking to give clients greater flexibility in the creative process, on July 23 announced the release of Anark Studio 1.5, the latest version of the its multimedia authoring software.

The new version of the software includes a new content delivery system that allows content to be delivered as a standalone solution on kiosks and CD-ROMs, or in Web-browsing setups.

"The artists and developers that we talked to challenged us to provide a solution that allows them to easily combine all forms of media into the most stunning interactive presentations," Stephen Collins, Anark president and chief executive officer, said in a news release.

Anark Studio 1.5 is free for customers upgrading from Anark Studio 1.0. A competitive upgrade is available for $499 and a Windows standalone option is available for $995.

In other news, Anark announced the creation of a support group for Anark Studio customers. Anark Professional Services Group will serve as a complement to training and support already available for the software package.
