BOULDER, Colo. -- Anark Corporation, producers of an integrated broadcast platform for the Web, have announced a partnership with Denver-basedDigital Metropolis, a digital media interactive agency that produces content for kiosks, the Web, CD-ROMs, DVDs and multimedia presentations.
Anark is developing an integrated media platform that will provide digital media developers and Web developers with a complete solution to create, deliver and broadcast quality content.
Digital Metropolis will be using Anark Client -- a part of the Anark Media Platform -- to create unique client presentations. Anark will provide support to get Digital Metropolis designers operating on the new software. In return, Digital Metropolis will provide feedback to assist Anark in the further enhancement of its media platform and provide content that Anark can use for marketing.
"The Anark Media Platform will allow our developers to add creative options and increase interactivity and functionality, while providing them with new ways for clients to communicate with their customers," said John Nimmo, Digital Metropolis president. "Digital Metropolis will be able to provide its clients with broadcast quality creative productions they've been asking for to use on the Web, intranets, kiosks and more."
Anark Client enables Web and digital media developers to fully integrate 3-D and 2-D graphics, video, audio, and text into an interactive experience on the Internet with broadcast-quality visual displays. Anark also provides network enabling and broadcast server applications through its back-end content delivery applications. These server-side components of the Anark Media Platform will be released throughout 2001.
