Albuquerque upgrades parking kiosks with touch-to-pay, mobile pay

The city of Albuquerque, New Mexico recently installed more than 1,600 parking meters in the downtown and Nob Hill areas, according to the city's website.

The new meters replace older models and include touch-to-pay and mobile-pay capabilities to process transactions faster and with clearer images.

The new meters were gradually installed in the downtown and Nob Hill areas beginning in early 2023, and the project was complete as of early April.
