Residents in Rogersville, Alabama, will now no longer have to make a trip to the county tag office to renew their tags, they can simply go to the town hall to utilize a kiosk.

Residents in Rogersville, Alabama, will now no longer have to make a trip to the county tag office to renew their tags, they can simply go to the town hall to utilize a kiosk, according to areport by WHNT 19.

Wait times at the Lauderdale County License Commissioner's Office can vary significantly, and tends to get worse near the end of the month, according to the report. Thus, the License Commissioner William Smith believes the kiosk at the Rogersville Town Hall will be more beneficial.

"There's a large section of the populace that's out on the east end of the county, and for those who don't have the Internet access we wanted to give them another option," Smith said.

The kiosk also allows users to pay their property taxes to the commissioner. The kiosk will be available from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.
