Akron, Ohio deploying kiosks for municipal court visitors

The Akron, Ohio city council has approved a $38,238 contract with Advanced Robot Solutions to provide self-service kiosks at the Akron Municipal Court, according to an Akron.com report. The contract includes the purchase of a main entrance kiosk and two smaller kiosk stations and software.

The purchase is fully covered by grants from the Ohio State Bar Foundation and the Huntington Foundation. The main entrance kiosk will direct court visitors within the building, while the two kiosk stations will help visitors look up information and print forms.
