ActiveLight to distribute Zenith digital-signage products

SEATTLE -- Zenith Electronics Corp. has tagged ActiveLight Inc., distributor of professional plasma and liquid crystal display (LCD) systems, as its newest value-added distributor of Zenith plasma and LCD monitor products for specific commercial applications.

The distribution agreement recognizes ActiveLight's role as a key distributor to the rapidly growing digital dynamic signage and commercial display marketplace, according to a news release.

"Zenith has emerged as a leading supplier of advanced plasma and LCD monitors for commercial applications," said Brad Gleeson, ActiveLight president and chief operating officer. "The addition of the broad Zenith product line to ActiveLight's offerings benefits both our PowerPartner resellers and the digital signage and commercial display marketplaces they serve."

Activelight plans to promote Zenith flat panel displays to its 3,000-plus resellers through advertising in trade magazines, promotional e-mails sent to qualifying "power partner" resellers, applications stories in the ActiveLight Flat Panel Monitor reseller newsletter and product information on ActiveLight's Web site.
