October 31, 2002

SEATTLE -- ActiveLight, a national distributor of plasma and LCD monitors, has been named No. 35 on the list of 100 fastest growing private companies in Washington by the Puget Sound Business Journal.

The company increased revenues by $30 million, or more than 139 percent, during the evaluation period of 1999-2001, according to a news release.

ActiveLight started in 1998 as a spin-off of Boxlight Corp., which has received the same honor on three previous occasions. Boxlight also made it to the Inc. 500 list five times, according to the release. ActiveLight distributes NEC, Pioneer and other plasma displays, multiple-display image servers, specialized broadcast-display software and interface electronics for the large-format display network industry.
