Acteva, friendlyway partner on trade-show kiosks

SAN FRANCISCO - Kiosk developer friendlyway Inc. and Web-based software developer Acteva.com have created a kiosk system trade show organizers and attendees can use as an event organizer and online resource.

Using friendlway's floor-standing stations, the kiosk will offer trade-show attendees with Internet and e-mail access, and event registration and information. The kiosk, which will be deployed on the show floor, integrates friedlyway's multimedia and Internet capabilities with Acteva's event registration, event information, and attendee data collection software.

"Together, friendlyway and Acteva can now provide powerful business and sponsorship solutions to producers and managers of trade shows, events and executive conferences," Alexander von Welczeck, friendlyway president, said in a news release.

Acteva and friendlyway will debut the system at the Trade Show Exhibitors Association Winter Forum and International Association for Exhibition Management Annual Expo, scheduled for Dec. 4-6 in Chicago.
