Guests staying at the Crowne Plaza in Abu Dhabi can now check in to their flights, print boarding passes and tag their bags at a kiosk before leaving the hotel lobby, according to a company press release.
When the check-in process is complete, the passengers take their bags to the baggage drop desk at the airport and go straight to passport control. The Crowne Plaza is the fourth remote check-in facility launched by the Abu Dhabi Airports Company for the Abu Dhabi International Airport. The kiosk was first introduced last year at a hotel at the Park Rotana Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
"The self-service kiosks in hotels across the city allow passengers to manage their own travel plans conveniently and easily, giving them maximum time to enjoy the city and minimizing queues at the airport," Harib Al Hameli, VP of operations of Abu Dhabi International Airport, said in the release.
