61 EV charging stations slated for Indiana

Electric vehicle owners will have 61 charging stations in Indiana by 2023, according to a mywabashvalley.com report.

The stations, which will be along interstates, roadways and corridors, will be installed between 30 to 50 miles from one another.

Construction will begin this year in Rochester, according to Duke Energy, one of the utilities involved in the project. The funds will come from a settlement with Volkswagen and clean air violations.
