5 men in Utah arrested for allegedly stealing from ATM

Police have arrested five men in southern Utah for allegedly stealing from a Wells Fargo ATM during a repair. When a serviceman was working on the ATM, two individuals wearing masks pushed him away, then stole four ATM cassettes, according to a report by KSL.

The suspects later threw the cassettes from their vehicle onto the road. Police later found a pillow case with more than $5,000 in cash.

"Throughout the course of the investigation, a total of five males were located and believed to have participated in the execution of the robbery at the ATM. The males were all located in the same area and are from Texas," police stated in an affidavit "I was notified of a similar ATM robbery which occurred on (Saturday) in northern Utah in which a large amount of cash was obtained in a similar manner by the suspects. Some of the suspects from this incident are believed involved in that crime."
