Arizona-based eSoles Custom Footbeds, which makes modular and custom insoles, announced that its 3D foot-scanning kiosk will be on display at the Northern Trust Open, a PGA Tour event at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
Tournament spectators will have the opportunity to be scanned on-site during the tournament, lasting from February 2nd through the 7th. Once the scan is complete, spectators will have the option to purchase a pair of eFit custom modular footbeds at the event or have a pair of ePro custom footbeds shipped to them.
Foot scans will be performed using eSoles' state-of-the-art 3D TruCapture Kiosk, which takes 100 percent 3D digital images of an individual's feet to design custom footbeds, or insoles. Currently, over 100 PGA Tour players wear eSoles custom footbeds, according to eSoles.
The 3D TruCapture Kiosk System uses precise algorithms to compare customer foot scans to its database of over 50,000 foot scans. This information is used to construct unique custom footbeds tailored to each customer's feet.
