23 Kentucky Kroger stores testing health program

March 24, 2010

ProgressiveGrocer.com reports that Kroger this week will start testing a new health-and-wellness program at 23 of its stores in central Kentucky. ProgressiveGrocer.com says the stores would serve as a testing ground for the grocer's entire store base.

The program will feature LUCY, Kroger's name for the LC600 Health Station, a kiosk that enables shoppers to find out their weight, body mass index, blood pressure, pulse, blood oxygen and other health measures. Users can track their progress over time by creating an account at Kroger.com.
