Bernard Clary

As the resident subject matter expert on PCI DSS, PCI P2PE, privacy principles, and industry and regulatory standards, Bernard helped expand awareness of security, privacy, and standardization within FreedomPay as well as the company’s client base. As the company expands internationally, he ensures that existing and emerging regulations globally are analyzed and applied to FreedomPay solutions, processes, and procedures as applicable.

Bernard works closely with all departments within FreedomPay to ensure compliance and security best practices are implemented as early as the design phase for new solutions and integrations, and that efficient procedures are put in place to complement existing workflows.

Bernard received his Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Clarkson University, and is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Internal Security Assessor (ISA).
