We’ve designed our software to handle these issues gracefully, but when a fault occurs, we learn about it in the backend. Faults are reported automatically to the owner and Howard Enterprise. When a fault is discovered, the owner should submit a ticket for repair or instruction. The appropriate contact will be notified (if a cashbox requires removal, accounting will be alerted; if the kiosk is down, a technical contact will be notified, etc.)
- Health checks are performed every 15 seconds.
- Howard uses a PCI validated P2PE (Point-to-Point Encryption) solution which reduces the scope of the customers PCI compliance.
