Businesses across the globe are struggling to make their employees feel safe and protected at work amid the recent outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus.

While some businesses can afford to switch to work-from-home practices, many still cannot. These companies and businesses are looking for modern, realistic and everyday solutions to help fight the spread of viral infections in the workplace.

Hand sanitizer dispensing machines have been around for years, but they have recently gained increased popularity in wake of the pandemic COVID-19. These machines provide a simple solution to a problem that many workplaces around the world are facing today — how to maintain and encourage hygiene.

In addition to dispensing hand sanitizer, a sanitation station can also provide antibacterial wipes and face masks. The importance of these basic sanitary products can be witnessed in their unprecedented demand in the recent past, which is expected to last indefinitely.

The face masks and hand sanitizer provide relief from germs to all employees, while the antibacterial wipes can be used to wipe out surfaces to ensure they are free of germs, such as office desks, door knobs and drawer handles.

A hand sanitation machine can be floor standing or wall-mounted, and does not require a large footprint. A machine can easily be designed to blend in to many different environments. It does not look out of place in any office space or in most public spaces.

Where to install them

Ideal places for hand sanitation dispensers are in high traffic areas in businesses, such as toilets, lobbies and lunch rooms. Entrances and exits of buildings are other areas where machines may be useful to ensure the killing of bacteria and germs as employees walk in and out of buildings. The machines are helpful in any public space where groups of people gather and germs may transmit from one person to another.

Custom built machines allow companies and businesses to brand their hand sanitizer dispensers to increase employee loyalty and to make an investment that is in line with their company image and branding.

The machines can be custom designed depending on a company’s preferences. Accordingly, the settings for the price of commodities the dispenser holds can be set to suit the company’s needs.

The need will outlast COVID-19

The White House last week unveiled its "Guidelines for Opening Up America Again," a three-phased approach based on the advice of public health experts to allow businesses that have been closed to reopen. No doubt companies that have been closed will be anxious to resume their operations, but they will want to be sure their employees and visitors will be safe.

Killing germs is the first step to healthy living not only for the employees themselves, but also for anyone who is potentially exposed to the risk around them.

Hand sanitation machines ensure that all spaces are equipped with basic sanitary products which are essential in winning the fight against widespread diseases such as the COVID-19 coronavirus today. They will play an important role in maintain a safe workplace.
