In short, self-service kiosks can be used to build communities both socially and organically. These and other customer touch points can allow brands to interact more fully with the customer in an authentic and mutually beneficial manner. Consider the customer's interaction (via UX) when designing your self-service application and provide value for any data you are seeking. Use video and allow customers to co create with you on your branding message, advertising, products, and communication. Find the touch points at which you can authentically interact with your customer and build on those interactions to improve your product, your brand, and the customer experience.
