point-of-sale system, Wincor Nixdorf is introducing an individually
configurable, space-saving kiosk terminal especially for indoor use in
retail environments.
The system offers an intuitive user
interface via a flat display with touchscreen functionality. The TFT
technology used permits brilliant presentation of the information.
Touching the screen with a finger-tip,
the user can navigate through the program, call up the required product
information or order the prize from the bonus points scheme.
The teminal has built-in speakers
supporting sound-based applications, as well as a card reader allowing
the use of magnetic strip or chip-based customer cards.
Used in conjunction with a scanner, it can become a price-verifier unit or a goods-receiving terminal
