The GiroScanBox (GSB) is a Self-Service Terminal which accepts small documents like remittances or checks. Using the GSB the bank transmits the work to scan documents to the client. A two line display and the GSB´s voice system lead him through the application.
After feeding in a bank card in the card reader the document can also be inserted into the scanner and the application is able to check whether all fields are completed correctly. The scanned data are then transmitted to a clearing centre.
Using the GSB leads to time savings for the teller and cost savings for the clearing centre.
The innovative, interactive scan-terminal with its 24 hour / 7 day service along with its simple use is a signboard for every bank.
