| |  | INTRODUCING THE MODEL 428M
The 428M is the most innovative, reliable and cost effective printer for the kiosk market. It was created to pack the ultimate in power and dependability into the smallest possible footprint. Its efficient design gives integrators the utmost flexibility in planning the inside of a kiosk. Field replaceable wear parts, self-locating print head and the most reliable rotary cutter on the market make it the easiest printer to own and lowest cost to maintain. Other standard features include a 300 dpi print head for enhanced print quality, a stepper motor driven rotary cutter for long life, USB interface for easy integration and extended graphic capabilities for enhanced applications.
INNOVATIVE DESIGN
The 428M makes remarkable advances in specialty kiosk printing. It can print on virtually any direct thermal stock used in kiosks including tickets, receipts, and wristbands. Self-centering paper guides and adjustable black line sensors also guarantees a perfect print every time. The 428M offers other design innovations such as recessed cable connections that help keep the depth to a minimum and holds cables out of the paper’s path.
FEATURE RICH
The 428M is a versatile printer that prints at speeds up to 8 inches per second. It prints on die-cut, continuous, preprinted labels or ticket/tag/receipt stock up to 11 mils thick and up to 4 3/8 inches (111 mm) wide. It also prints on rolls or fan-folded stock, giving you the ultimate in selection and design flexibility.
OPTIONS
Optional features are offered to further enhance and complement the 428M. These features include an external paper guide with media sensor, power supply, foreign character sets and a sensor that can be placed anywhere in the kiosk enclosure and will detect existing paper supply.
