Frank Mayer & Associates announced today the development of cellphone charging stations aimed at driving retail store traffic and social engagement, according to a company press release.
The charging stations allow consumers to plug in up to three mobile devices at one time, with each station offering an area for customized branded graphics and updatable promotional messaging.
"The combination of nearly 50 percent smartphone consumer market penetration, the growing multichannel retail business model, and the benefit of having consumers spend more time in retail space should make this cell phone charging station, developed specifically for commercial use, a very welcome addition to the modern retail environment," said Dave Loyda, product marketing manager at Frank Mayer.
