At CETW in San Francisco, Touch Revolution showcased a retail concept demo that integrated mobile, touch digital signage and tablet technologies.
Working in conjunction with digital solutions firm Universal Mind, Touch Revolution came up with a soluton that recognizes shoppers who've opted in by their cellphones, welcoming them to the store on digital signage. The solution then allows shoppers to learn more aboiut products via touchscreen displays, and when they're ready for assistance or need more information, send a message to a customer service representative's tablet device.
"We worked with Universal Mind on how to redeploy what a retail space could look like," said Gene Halsey, director of product management for Touch Revolution.
