GREENSBORO, N.C. — Gilbarco, supplier of fully integrated POS systems, and Temple, Texas-based PDI, which offers workforce-management and packaged-goods-distribution software, have partnered. Gilbarco’s Express Ordering self-service kiosks will now have integrated back-office support from PDI's PDI/Enterprise and PDI/FocalPoint applications.
According to a news release, retailers will benefit from streamlined foodservice inventory and accounting management from the PDI system operation. Express Ordering works in conjunction with the retailer’s point of sale of choice.
“Many of our customers are already familiar with the PDI/Enterprise and PDI/FocalPoint applications and they will be impressed with this robust addition,” said Richard Browne, Gilbarco’s vice president of marketing for North America. “Teamed with our powerful Express Ordering kiosks, customers now have the tools to better manage their foodservice operations, controlling costs and driving results in the most profitable category in the convenience store business.”
