New Edge, InMotion benefit from in-store kiosk deal

The (Vancouver, Wash.) Columbian: New Edge Networks, builder of private IP-based wide-area networks that do not use the public Internet, has signed a three-year, $1 million deal to build and manage a private-data network that connects U.S. airports. The network will allow InMotion Entertainment, an entertainment and electronics U.S. airport retailer, to sell movie and music-digital downloads at in-store kiosks in 55 stores at 30 airports.
