Credit-card fraud investigation targets self-service kiosks

• 23 Jul 2008

The Globe and Mail: Toronto's Pearson airport is concentrating on the security of its 150 self-service check-in kiosks for suspected credit-card fraud. Financial institutions spotted isolated fraud patterns that appeared to be stemming from the use of the cards in conjunction with boarding passes. The investigation focuses on the airport kiosks, which passengers use for a number of purposes, including reservation confirmation and the printing of boarding passes.
