Cummins Allison this week introduced the Money Machine Self-Service Coin Counter for the Canadian market, according to a company announcement. The Money Machine is a service delivery tool for coin processing that could be placed in a retail or a banking environment.
A 15-inch touchscreen guides customers through the coin-counting process, with custom graphics, images and multilingual text giving flexibility to promote products and services, as well as cater to a diverse audience, the company's announcement said.
Cummins Allison high-speed self-service coin machines are able to count mixed Canadian coins at a rate of up to 4,000 per minute. After coins are deposited, the Cummins Allison coin redemption machine issues a receipt for the total, which can then be exchanged at the branch for cash or deposited into a bank account.
