ShopKeep POS announced today a partnership with Griffin Technology to launch an iPad POS system with a built-in magnetic card reader, which will be unveiled at the International Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas this week.
Griffin's Kiosk Retail targets durability and security with an integrated magnetic card reader and impact-resistant housing for the iPad, the announcement said. The built-in magnetic card reader is TDES encrypted and has DUKPT key management.

Some of our larger merchants need a sturdier solution to move customers through the line as quickly and efficiently as possible," said Jason Richelson, CEO and founder of ShopKeep POS.
