  • Kodak renews agreement with CVS for photo kiosks

Eastman Kodak Co. has signed an agreement with CVS Caremark Corp. renewing CVS' role as the largest single customer of Kodak's retail photo kiosk business.

According to Kodak, the arrangement extends CVS' use of 15,000 Kodak kiosks through 2016. The renewal comes even as Kodak is marketing its kiosk business and looking to sell it. Also under the renewal, CVS will upgrade and expand the number of Adaptive Picture Exchange dry photo labs it has at stores.

In a statement, Kodak President Laura Quatela said that as the company goes through the sale process, "this agreement is further proof of customer demand for Kodak's market-leading products and services — and potential buyers recognize this."
