HealthSpot, a provider of health care technology, has developed a system that provides remote medical diagnostics to patients. The HealthSpot Station is a private, walk-in kiosk that gives acute care patients live access to board-certified doctors, via high-definition videoconferencing and interactive digital medical devices, according to an announcement.
The kiosks will provide interactive health care that diverts patients from lengthy or inaccessible in-office appointments, urgent care centers and emergency room visits while maintaining live-doctor patient communication at locations nationwide, the announcement said.
The HealthSpot Station is also an alternative for quick and easy preventative care before a condition becomes serious or requires a hospital stay.
