Self-service technology provider ZIVELO announced today that it will be supporting Hurricane Sandy disaster relief efforts through its social outreach program, the ZIVELO Foundation. The company has committed to donate $50 to the American Red Cross disaster relief fund for Hurricane Sandy for every kiosk sold during the month of November.
The ZIVELO Foundation, which is the philanthropic extension of the kiosk and digital signage manufacturing company, focuses on social, economic and environmental growth, and relief worldwide including initiatives such as planting trees and donating rice in developing countries for every kiosk or digital sign sold. In response to the overwhelming destruction and loss of life caused by the hurricane, the ZIVELO Foundation is allocating its charitable donations to Sandy relief efforts through Nov. 30.
"My heart goes out to all who were lost or have been affected by this devastating natural disaster," said Ziver Birg, founder and CEO of ZIVELO. "We want to help out in any way possible to get our east coast neighbors back on their feet and I encourage other businesses and organizations to do the same if they can. Every little bit helps."
