Kiosks deployed to promote HBO’s 'The Pacific'
• 12 Mar 2010 MediaPost.com: HBO is looking to promote "The Pacific," a new mini-series about a group of Marines fighting through the Pacific Theater in World War II, via an interactive kiosk placed in several WWII-themed museums across the country. The kiosks allow visitors to record a video tribute thanking veterans and active military for their service. The 30-second messages, recorded free of charge, can be e-mailed to active-duty service members and will be sent to HBO, which will compile the tributes for a montage appearing on its Web site and distributed to the troops.
